  • In just a few days… I will no longer be offering budgeting products. This is a follow-up to my last post, as I’ve gained more clarity since then. If you’ve had your eyes on a planner or spreadsheet, I mean it when I say don’t wait! •••••• …you didn’t ask for alladis 🥲 but if you’d like to know two major realizations I’ve had so far this year, I imagine reading them will help upcoming content and the shop cleanout make a bit more sense. Two major realizations: 1️⃣ Entrepreneurship has been beautiful, but I’ve lost myself a little bit. My values of faith, excellence, growth and service have been threatened by my fixation on “success.” It’s important to me that I resolve that before I sell anything again. 2️⃣ This business has grown tremendously and it has changed lives, but it’s not my legacy. I was born to be a teacher. Since 2020, I have bounced between the business and the classroom. “I’ll just take the biz full time if things go well.” 👀 Things went very well, but never well enough to take the Rachel at the whiteboard out of my daydreams. I’m still an entrepreneur, but I’m a teacher first. So things have to look a little different moving forward. ••••••• I don’t know if/when I’ll make budgeting products again. But I do know it’s been a joy to talk money with you. And I’m grateful for every bit of the journey so far. See you soon ☺️
  • The fate of my OnlyFinance… When I rebranded 18 months ago from Beautiful Budget to Rae Michelle Planners, the intent was to broaden my product line and content beyond money. But nothing changed 🥲🤣 I continued to convince myself that finance was all that belonged here. The budget planners are an entire business and course by themselves, so I feared I wasn’t serving you if I shared other topics. 1️⃣ I’ve realized it’s really not that serious 🙃 2️⃣ It led to creator burnout and stunted my creativity. I’d rather introduce change than stop creating altogether. This post serves as a heads-up and as a thank you. 🙏🏽 I love what we’ve built. I love this community. I love that I’ll soon be making you new things. More clarification: 🔹So no more new budget planners? 👉🏽 No more physical versions. Not too sure yet about future spreadsheets and tablet versions. Those are a maybe. 🔹What about coaching? 👉🏽 I am closing my coaching programs indefinitely. 🔹What are these “new things” you speak of? 👉🏽 Emergency binder, daily planner, wedding workbook, (friend, I’m still obsessed with planners 🤣), potentially handmade items as Tron and I get to know each other! ••••••••••••• Here’s to never losing our creativity and joy 🥂
